Telangana’s Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has proposed a 12‑lane greenfield highway that would link “Bharat Future City” (Hyderabad) to Bandar Port (Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh), via Amaravati.
The proposal involves 118 km of highway in Telangana, additional stretches in Andhra Pradesh; other infrastructure requests (like parts of the Regional Ring Road, elevated/greenfield corridors) are also being pursued. The Union Ministry is expected to review the plan and possibly approve shortly.
